When i was 12 and got bang into music properly, one of the first albums i bought was JAMC's Darklands. I listened to that album to death, it went so well with my moody prepubescent manner and general attitude of angst lol:)

I'll have Cherry Came Too from it for today:king:

Some**** Somewhere in Summertime
Loving this.... betters Otis' version imo (sacrilege I know  )

LOVE the climax on this.... & the backing singers.... pure soul salvation \o/  This is pure gospel & spiritual music...

PS Amelda Quirke woulde deffo get it ;)

YouTube - The Commitments - Try a Little Tenderness

Amelda Quirke... is she the tall blone wone with the perm? If so hell aye she'd get it. Can't bear the commitments music tho meself... Still haven't got over how badly it was overplayed at the time... That and the fact the singer looks spookily like one of my old tripping buddies. :fekked:

Playtime Toons - Shaker Song (Norman Cook Remix)

The original wins (of course) but I do love this floaty remix.
