Document sharing without a network

Hi there
Does anyone know if there is a way of sharing documents without setting up a network.
I want to be able to save Word and Excel documents to somewhere that I can access from any pc. At the moment I attach the docs to an e-mail but was wondering if anyone knows of a way around this?
Any advice appreciated
