Does any one know if the Denon DNS3500 can play mp3 direct from your hardrive/ pc without the need to burn the mp3 onto a cd?

Also whats the main difference between this and the S5000 is it just the spining platter?

Any help much appreciated?:king:

Yeah, don't!

You'll end up paying import tax on it, so if it's only a saving of £200 it just aint worth it, unless you are willing to take a gamble and ask the seller to send it as "gift" with a value of less than $20 - to avoid paying the import tax, you'd be daft to as if it went missing in the post, you wouldn't be able to claim owt.

I bought mine brand new from the states and it came very quick and I saved alot doin it that way :)

Only things to watch are:

You will need a converter as we are on 240v and the US arent. (Not too expensive from £2 - £18)

I got hit with a small customs charge :|

Defo would do it again

Very good service that wayne, did you not have to pay any customs charges then.

No none in total i saved £250 on brand new price in England (including postage and insurance etc) the only thing i had to pay for on top of that was £20 for the adapter for the mains. Spent a lot of time checking the feedback on the seller to ensure they were legit.
