Das Geduldige Fleisch for the umpteenth time

Well i'm a little liar really, i lost the original, in one of my many house moves, and i can't find it or the later translation, The Willing Flesh for love nor money, so i'm making do with Cross of Iron..

I tell ya what, as much as i love the Sam Pekinpah fillum, the books wank reet over it with a 30' rubber cock!

So what are the books in yer collections that you keep reading time and time again, peeps?

I might look out for the one that Saysay mentioned, that will be a proper laugh, knowing what those two owd hellraisers got up too!

Howard Marks? hmmmm I dunno, i know we all do shizz, but glorifying it? I'll reserve judgement till i read it!

On another note, i was handed A boy called It by David Pelzer, when that was doing the rounds, and by fuck i dont wanna read it again, and not because its crap... and it aint.
Its just horrendous.

Im reading a series of books about Ramses (pharaoh of eqypt) by christian jacq - there are 5 books in the series about ramses (fictional story but some facts about him from historial sides)

Ive read this series before and i love it - the first book is called, The son of the Light and ive nearly finished it and moving onto book 2 > the temple of a million years.

very good books and very well written. :king:

I was considering scouring the charity shops for another copy of Ian Banks Complicity and Walking on glass, both have also gone walkabout from me bookcase during the last house move....

The Ramses series of books sounds like the bomb also!

i read a lot of true stories......read a few of dave pelzers books and thats what got me into reading them.......some people think its sick reading the stories of child abuse etc but to me it actualy hits home what goes on behind closed doors!!!

i started to read a book a few years ago n couldnt get past the first chapter, cant even remember what its called....but its about the first victim of the yorkshire ripper and what happened to her kids after she was murdered, might give that one a whirl again
