right im after something that i can plug me cdj's into to record some mixes and ive been looking at a cd recorder that will act like a tape deck where will i find one for the best deal :confused:

have u tried "virtual dj" you can set it up to use decks through your mixer/amp so it may work, will try to dig out a copy 4 ya

If your soundcard has a LINE INPUT then it's compatible. Don't use Soundforge myself, but check that you've got the right input selected. It'll be in the preferences menu or something. :thumbsup:

You might also want to check that the input isn't muted by going to START > CONTROL PANEL > SOUND, SPEECH AND AUDIO DEVICES and having a mooch through the options there
