How frigging ace is this season. I think it easily the best with regards to colour and shiz, it just has its own smell and feeling. I got some new lovely Hunter Galloway wellies today early off Santa, and i can't wait to go out and try them out in the lovely place we live in. I was going to go and try and find some conkers with the double buggy but we left it in the back of the bloody car. Has anyone seen any? They seem to have been missing this year:confused: (not cars obv, conkers)

I can't wait for bommy night either, Jonno has already started with the fireworks- which the neighbours are loving:condom:

Some**** Somewhere in Summertime
LOL :D
Bit wet though mind (autumn, not Jonno).
Loads of cizzonkers round ar way which seem to interest todays yoot not one bit. The little shites.

I was all ower that shit when I were a young un. Collecting big bags of em then baking them in the oven & painting with nailvarnish & chanting satanic rituals ower them to make them hard as fuck. None of it worked lol.

There was a youth club a load of us used to go to back then (next door to - but not affiliated with - the local church... run by this kindly old gent with nicotine fingers, a wig & vast collection of baggy cable knit jumpers who would play the piano & sing us the odd slightly rude song... closed without a murmur quite strangely years later and we all now reckon he might have been a paedo... but i digress) which had a massive conker tree out the back & we used to be always getting wrong for clambering up on gravestones & lobbing big bits of stick up in the branches to dislodge them :)

Hate the dark mornings/dark nights though. Thats the only thing with autumn... and I'm not arsed one way or t'other about halloween or bonny neet

I love the cosyness...autumn is sooo cosy...and I like little perks like baked potatoes round the bonfire etc...and being able to wear big cosy boots and tights and ear muffs and wintery stuff for a change, but I hate the dark mornings and evenings and I hate the grey colour that the sky is permanently, its such a summer comedown colour...and I hate the fact that people stop doing things as much because its too cold so everywhere has a bit of a dying vibe...like the trees, beautiful as they are.

There might be a lot of nice colours and stuff, but it's freezing, and won't be long before it's dark at 4.30pm

Give me summer all year round please!

Autumn in this country is drab nowadays, just lots of rain and freezing cold. Dont mind it when its dry and the leaves are the ground in their full colour bu thats a rarety. Dark nights and shitty mornings, cant even say id settle for summer cus we just dont get one anymore :(

Was absolutely gorgeous in Budapest seeing the contrast of colours in the dazzling sunshine:cool:

Been freezing my nuts of in the high winds and rain on the pennines today though so just glad to get home and dried off;)

When it's nice it's amazing though:love:

Those pics are amazing Chris & Phil

I love autumn... in fact I love all seasons providing they retain the nuances & characteristics that make them distinct.... can't stand one big grey dreary, dismal blur of seasons :(

Hearing what Chris Sheiky said about conkers... kids have no interest these days :( Me & me mate were hoying sticks up in bountiful trees the other weekend to get some - not a nipper in sight... I blame XBox 360's & shit parenting...
