Goldwave

I have just recently downloaded this programme for free.
i am haveing trouble figuring out how to use it
I am not really gifted when it comes to music although I
know good music when i hear it. I want to know if i can make a mix
out of music that is already on my computers hard drive.
and any other tips on the use of this programme will be welcome.

Goldwave is an editing/manipulation software. it helps recode, cut, paste, remove pop n click etc etc.

It is not a mixing program, Traktor, ableton and the such are used to mix mp3 and the like.

I've used goldwave for 8 years to help record my Sets live and rip my Music for back up straight from vinyl. You can then cut out the hiss or pop n click and convert to wav or mp3. re equalise stuff and filter sound.

I prefer it over other editing softwares but everyone has their own favorite.

i bet your sick of answering my queries now lol.
so goldwave is just for editing individual tunes.
arent there any other programmes available to download for free
with which i can mix with?

Yes as mentioned , Traktor, ableton, pcdj and atomix.

Never fiddled with them tbh. Vinyl is easier to me though seen some top dj's use em well. Oldskooldaze on here is ace on Ableton.
