yo...Ive been played this a few times in my music listening career-and it's only just now made sense to me. Not the cheesy stuff. I love the "propper" sound it has to it, and not the flat synths that the later italo house has.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any good tunes/labels/producers???

Is anyone else up for a bit o' this shizzle??? disco rocks btw-in all its forms! :cool:

That seriousgroove guy on youtube knows his shizzle.

I am amazed how many so called `early Paradise Garage classics` were actually played in the latter years of The Highland Room at Blackpool Mecca. That place does not get enough recognition for how groundbreaking a place it truly was.

Yep this is the real deal Loz... :) Italo disco synths are sick sick sick... proper analogue phatness. The vocal versions are nearly always gay but the dubs are devastating :)

This italo mix album is superb:

In 2005-2007 I was lucky to hear the "Cybernetic Broadcasting System", an internet radio focused on Italo, Synth, Electro and even Cosmic Disco. It was a project from the same dutch I-f Discography at Discogs.

He played stuff like this:

I've been listening to italo disco for a few years now, and while I do like the dub versions, the original vocals have grown on me quite a bit. I'm sure I like some songs that would get some laughs on here, but the ones I really love have a serious electro groove to them. Here are a few of my faves:
