My PC is constantly running at 100% CPU - checking the processes and the csrss.exe file is running constantly.

Quick search on the net suggests I have the Ahlem.A. Wrom.

Microsoft suggest to creat another user account and delete mine but my PC keeps freezing when i try to delete (although I have created a new account).

Lods of software claiming to remove it - all for a fee of course.

Anybody any help, preferably free??

i know it might sound obvious (but i know loads of folk who dont do it, tho this is the way u shud really do all ya scans for cleanin anyway) but have u tried bootin up in safe mode (constantly hittin f8 while bootin up) then run ya av or malwarebytes as this way ya pc will only start up the files and stuff it really needs so u shud have some spare process power..

If u have no joy with malwarebytes try ComboFix | freeware ...

As a last resort i swear by it ...

Good luck

Also, jus looked into the csrss.exe issue a bit more and a lot of people who have complained about it have managed to fix it updatin various drivers..

Could jus be a case of a simple corruption somewhere so a simple update could solve it ...

Another possible simple solution is just to do a system restore to a day before you started havin the problem :p

I would be wary of that site as it seems to be another scam - unless the problems where caused by the actual virus, of course.

Combofix highly recommended - would suggest anybody to download it and keep it on your desktop just in case.

I second that, a friend told me about Combofix when my PC had malware from some securiry site shiz. It disabled my antivirus and everytime I booted this damn thing came in saying it was scanning my computer and finding loads. anyway running Combofix in safe mode got rid straight away
