playing the wrong mixes, spinning back the wrong tune...:$

oh yeah, just recently I played in Dalston and there was no monitor. I couldn't tell how loud it was on the dance floor and I kept getting people complaining that it was too quiet, but I was on a limiter, I tried to eek out a bit more by gradually turning it up and blew the system

all I remember is some pissed girl saying to me "call yourself a DJ you (add your own expletive)"

another appreciative crowd enjoys one of my many DJ'ing triumphs.....

well, I put the blame on everyone who wanted me to turn it up, luckily one of the guys who worked in this place was some sort of equipment genius, and it wasn't the first time this had happened...after about 10 minutes he had it going again.....needless to say I left by the back door to avoid the lynching out the front.....

genius, made all the better for the fact that the guy seems to think he is something special with his obnoxious and rude salute to the crowd..

Ha ha! Not quite as good as the Tiesto Scatman one.

Playing out nightmares?
Turned the wrong deck off, mid banger.
Train crash mixing.
Getting totally confused by the mixer and pretty much having a panic attack.

I don' know why I keep going back for more to be honest, I'm a glutton for punishment.

And then I nail a mix or build 3 good records into a crescendo and the place goes off and it's suddenly all worth it. Wish my technical skills were better though, it'd be so much more pleasurable!

Being that out of it and falling onto the decks :fekked: :$

Forgetting I was playing and letting the record finish - bemused faces looking worried that I was looking like they were 'thinking where's the tunes dj?' only it was meant to be me :$ :fekked:

LMAO!!! Thats ace! :fekked:  :cops: :cops: :cops:

Ive never had any major nightmares thankfully, just the norm stuff, monitors packing up, decks packing up, needles not wanting to stay on tunes, tunes jumping because of people dancing to close to the decks etc :cops:
