Dunno about you lot but I can't be arsed listing a one quid tune on Ogs.... I'd much rather swap it up with someone on here that wants it... & combine it with a beer & tune natter sesh....

Anyone else up for it ?

Thinking of somewhere that could host it such a sesh... or perhaps a Swap Shop could be hosted virtually on here if people went Gold ?

Thoughts ?

Wicked Idea, I have a pile I need to get rid of so instead of swapping how about One Beer for every record you can have off me? Id be a pissed man after 3 records sold. :crazy:

On a serious note tho that sounds like a great idea. Either a venue (Which is more expensive for me) or an online swap shop sounds good.

There is an Italian tunage one on Facebook. Good idea and the concept would work better with all genres and lots more peeps involved I recon.

I'd be well up for it. Got about a dozen boxes full of stuff I can't be arsed to list on Ogs.:thumbsup:

The problem with organising a virtual one is developing a web app that can manage it. I'm not aware of any open source app that could be modified to manage it. Certainly outside of the scope of VBulletin, which OSA is built on. Although it's a straightforward proposition, the programming requirement would be major to develop from scratch.

I'm sure the idea of an OSA record fair has been kicked around before. Maybe that would be the way to go, if there was enough interest.

Good idea.

I'd love to get rid of a load of rubbish so if anyone wants to swap some obscure stuff for some rubbish I'm in.

I've stuck it, only problem is when it gets to 9+ pages long and you have to keep going through it a lot is gonna be a pain.

Any objections if when tunes are sorted we delete posts to tidy it up? As I think that'd keep it easy to read...

Would it be an idea to link to our wants on discogs / sale list on there so people can just click a link?

I've got a tune that I can't even remember if it's any good - Biffam Baffam Boys - Bombers Over Bhagad EP - must dig that out and see if it's as shit as it sounds :LOL:

I tried that a few months ago Chris but the new one didn't get activated - think it was Shooms Sales or summat ?
