I joined this particulary fine board in the hope that some equally fine geezer can point me in the direction of a superb mix I heard late summer 1990 on the Pete Tong show no less.

It was nearly an hour in length and involved various superb samples of the day and was based around the world cup of 1990. Bobby Moore had a few soundbite samples including the glorious brazilian 'goallllllll' commentator adding to proceedings.

If anyone can help me out, I'll be eternally grateful.

Sorry to bump the ole intro thread but I reall need the mix I referred to in my opening post ! :$

I was listening to an online radio station the other day and Suzanne Vega came on with Tom's diner and was momentarily transported back 20 years as that track was also sampled - At the beginning if my memory serves me well.

Any help in locating this mix will be greatly received. Cheers !
