Have booked Stu Allan 5 times I think and hes turned up every time and always got it rocking. Hes even asked us if we would put him back on as he enjoyed it that much. I find it hard to believe hes took £1300 of someone and not turned upto play and then said he won't refund it as the impression I get is that hes a sound bloke

He would also have a house hour which would feature the seamless mixing he is known for

seamless mixing. I've heard sasha's mixing been called seamless but I always remember stu allans being a wip of the cross fader or about 4 bars of beats but cutting

Dont get me wrong- i love Stu Allen- a big reason why i got into Old skool listening to bust dis the house hour and the hard house stuff the hour after

I was in Barrow and the rumour was he did not show

I could of course be very wrong

The Dana Dawson comment (RIP) was just a fact i noticed from the last few times i had seen him

He always plays Music is my life and DJ Flavours as well but one thing I have noticed is the crowd expect him to play it, thats why hes there. Always a crowd puller is Stu, if you can get paid 1300 quid for playin similar tunes every set then thats great init altho, personally I would rather be known as someone where crowd thinks hmm whats he gonna play next

Are you talking about Re-Vived mate ???

I played at that night myself and your right he did not turn up, resulting in Andy Pendle and Matt Fear having to cover for the 90 minutes he was meant to be playing.
Nobody was answering any of the contact numbers the promoter had for him on the night, and when his agent was finally contacted his excuse was that he'd got the dates mixed up.

Not sure about the money situation though, although I'm sure he agreed to come up and play at a later date.

Yeah I've known Stu for many years and booked him a few times. He has always turned up and has always kept good comms when he's on his way.
Never a bad set and always a crowd pleaser. I too find this report hard to beleive, but as they say, there's 2 sides to every story, so what's the other side?

Well... he certainly didn't turn up to the Eclipse do last night even though he was billed :naughty:

However Debs, Alex, Harri & Eze did :king: Great to meet AB & Eze for the 1st time :D

Top night with the Top Buzz in Cov... some great tunes being played (GTO - Pure being a belter) plus a classic Buzz set... didn't think too much of Ellis Dee's to be honest - & maybe too much reliance on over-played tunes from all DJ's (Terrorize - It's just a feeling & Awesome 3 - Don't Go were played 3 times over the night)
