Did anybody ever come across any Alistair Cooke mixes floating around online ? ? I had one of the best mixes of ALL time from Back2Basics in Leeds. Lent it to a mate, never saw the tape or the mate again!

their was a ali cook tape on here don't think theirs many ali tapes kicking about Ive only heard of two over the years before he died , he was a good dj too at the old music factory ,have you tryed the basics forum.

I had the same problem re lending 2 of his tapes out years ago never seen again. Iwas always looking on line for 2 mixes one in May 92 and June 92.Found a site called oldskoolmassive and "bought "them from there .5 pounds each but it was worth it hearing it again. Try this site if you still have not had any luck.

thanks for the IDs Chumley, ive added them to the tracklisting further up the thread

and yeah that is the wrong tracklisting I upped for the other set :crazy:

ive deleted the post to save confusion

just figured out i have the other set labelled - Steve Williams @ Ark, Leeds 20-11-92 side A&B other way around

not sure which details are correct, hopefully somebody can confirm
