Stylus

Just managed to catch one of my needles sending i skipping across the wax. As a result its snapped the needle clean off. Had them for 4 years though so not to bad. Think it was on its way out anyway tbh :D Anyhooooo, does anyone know where they're cheapest? I'm after ortofon pinkys please :D

No the stylis are not knackered it is just that he loves his vinyl that much that only fresh stylis are good enough. His collection is something realy special though, absolutely mint throughout and runs from 86 to 92 with absolutley no rubbish. He used to deal records and rather than sell poor copies cheap he would throw them at local kids or snap them over his head....some real jems were lost!!

ps just watched the vid....never throw the counter weight away unless your rough on your vinyl or using the decks on an unsteady surface. I tend to use mine and over compensate with the adjustable weight. You should try to never have over 1 gram weight on the record if possible. The oldskool traditional headshell with Stanton 500 would need the counter weight to acheive this correctly where as the much lighter ortofon all in ones dont need it (as in the vid).

Im back at school!!

C- could do better......was always crap at english anyway, took it twice and got C on both occasions although that was when exams were difficult to pass rather thank then just turn up and get a C attitude these days!
