i have just been thinking about a tune that really stood out to me back in the day, phones: i was once fortunate enough to be looking after a m8s hifi, which consisted of a linn turntable, creek amp, arcam cd player, and big fook off floor standing speakers which i cant 100% remember the make, im pretty sure they were mission, but whatever they were it was a hifi geeks kind of set up that sounded fooooking awsome  and where i lived i had 4 rooms between where the deck was set up and the old lass next door, i could crank it that loud that i could have caused injury to myself without next door hearing :D anyway the point of all this is that although all music sounded ace on this set up, one tune used to blow my socks off, the bass is amazing phones: phones: phones: and this is it.

To be fair if it's base then LFO by LFO was a track that when released was blowing soundsystems all over the place, also Blapps possie bus it had some serious base.

But I'll go for LFO by LFO as it was one if not thee first track to use sub base breaks, Sheffield base n bleeps era was the best IMO and warp records really done it well back in the day.

Not mega old, about 1994 but I can remember hearing this at Ark I think it was and the bass that comes in at the 3 minute 30 mark shook the whole room, proper took my breath away everytime it rattled out the speaker I was next to. Bought it soon after that but didnt get many chances to play it that often due to complaints from the parents and my neighbours lol

Break your speakers with the drop into sub bass!!

On another note, whilst pissed on the radio on Friday, I nipped out for a cig and could hear the music from the bottom of the drive 30 feet away with all the windows and doors closed:thumbsup: phones:

it doesn't matter how old m8 im just really wondering about the ones that stood out in a way that is still deep rooted in the memory bank as amazing phones: im sure this is amazing unfortunatley im on a pair of 8 quid tesco cans at the moment, (which wont be doing it any justice) but would love to hear it on a huge rig, an upcoming night maybee. ;)
