what a waste im sure they had thier reasons but they could have done some good, rather than a publicity stunt, take a leaf out of Pink Floyds David Gilmours book, he sold his 3.6 million mansion and donated it to a homless charity and wanted no credit for it The Guardian profile: David Gilmour | Music | The Guardian yeah he can more than afford it, but it just shows how stupid the KLF stunt was when it could have been put to good use

Iv read stuff and seen some footage on this before - aint looked at the above links yet but....

Im pretty sure that they didnt actually do it when it got investigated properly (remember seeing summat on the bank transactions etc) and that they also didnt win the Turner prize but made up some alternative type thing. :S

never mind whether it was real or not, i don't think what they did was crazy or wrong. as a statement on todays society it spoke and still speaks volumes especially when you see peoples reactions to it.

Recall seeing the docu years ago about the burning of the notes - Seemed real as fuck to me back then.
And I'm sure they collected the ashes of the cash and tried selling them as art! (Or did I dream that bit?)
