Ever seen anything strange...

Basically, I was sat in the Mac suite at uni...I had my headphones on and was getting on with some photoshop bits when I heard this "eughghghghdhfh" chocking sound (louder than my music!)...

I looked over, and this girl just toppled off her chair. I thought it was a joke at first (that always happens when u see something weird doesn't it?)

Everyone stood, and look helpless and colour drained. Some first aiders came, but I saw her fitting on the floor, blood and sick gurgling. (Luckilly...well, sort of...the blood was from her nose as she'd bumped to the floor...not from her brain or something).

The paramedics came, and she was lucid by this point...she said she wasn't epileptic.

I was shaken up, it's beyond your comprehension when something like that happens.

Got me wondering, what have other people seen like that, out of the ordinary...how did it make you feel?

I remember on the way to Hazy, seeing a Subaru on the other side of the motorway spinning round...never knew what happened (obvs, coz we were going the other way at 70)

Yea, few years ago now I found a guy dead in his car. That was pretty grim. We tried to get him going again but sadly he was gone.

At first it was a bit surreal, then a bit of mild panic set in. Wasn't until that evening when it really started to sink in. First time I've ever seen death.

What really got me was helping the paramedics get him out of the car and I noticed his wedding ring. That proper upset me thinking about his misses getting a phone call or knock on the door. :(

the worst thing i can remember happening was on the way back from C.R.E.A.M one morning after a do at the chevron shoe factory in hockley. cream was an allnighter so it was about 10am, it was a beautiful day wall to wall sunshine, but it had been raining during the nite so the roads were wet. my g/f was driving, we were trashed so understandably she was taking things easy in the inside lane on the way down constitution hill, but the sun was right in our face, and the glare from the road was terrible, we couldn't see a thing.

i felt uneasy for some reason but couldn't put my finger on why. then it occurred to me, ppl were allowed to park on the inside lane on sundays back then, so i told her to move to the outside lane, and as soon as she did so a parked car flew past us on the left, another couple of seconds and we would have piled into the back of it. closest i've ever come to dying in a car :S

aww that's bad m8, never had to do that for a dead person. we once had to scrape a biker up off the road on the way back from the cider house in wootton. his legs were smashed, his thigh bones had broken thru the skin and there was blood pissing all over the road but he was concious, so a couple of us sat there talking to him, trying to take his mind off things till the ambulance arrived. the rest did their best to direct traffic round the accident while we waited.

then dibble arrived just as the ambulance did, the only thing i can remember him doing was to tell the ambulance driver to make sure they gave the bloke a breathalyser test as soon as he got to the hospital, then he fooked off

i heard later from our kid that the officer dibble was at the cricket club having a beer and watching the game when it kicked off, he left, came back 20 mins later and carried on drinking, cnut :S

Shit that is awful, did you ever find out what went on? Was it an accident or what?

I think seeing a dead body for the first time is just bizarre, almost surreal. It made me feel so strange, like mortal and stuff.

Good on you for helping, a lot of people would have been frozen.

My Grandad found a kid washed up when he was collecting cockles (can't bring myself to write cockeling when chatting about my Grandad). He had gone missing on a lilo or something.

Never heard anything more about it after that day, but they reckon he'd had a big heart attack. He'd run off the road, but not bad or anything. He'd hit a small road sign and knocked it flat but he can't have been going fast when he hit it as there was hardly any damage to his car, and his car was still parked on top of it. His radio was still going, but I can't remember if his engine was running or not.

Was a very strange to grab hold of someone's wrist and neck and not be able to feel a pulse.

Thing is though, we were on the other side of the road when I spotted him. I'd thought at first he'd parked up on the grass verge and gone to sleep as his head was on one side. Sommat wasn't right so we spun round and went back.

Thing is though, loads of people must have seen him go off the road and nobody else stopped. He might still be here if they had. :(

The most surreal thing I can recall is when I was taking a pee in a pub in Windsor many years ago and I felt someone pinch my bum. I turned around and it was Donald Sutherland and he was licking his lips suggestively, while I was stood there trying to work out what the fook was happening:crazy:

It took quite a few seconds to realise that I hadn't just imagined it:crazy:

There used to be an old Irish Pub in Boro cant mind the name of it or if it still there. Now this was the 1st pub all night and me n one of my mates went to the toilet before even ordering a drink. As stood at the urinal the door opened and it felt and sounded somebody came in and went into one of the stalls. When finished turned around and both stall doors were open and there was nobody else in there with us at all. :| I said to my mate did somebody just come in here he said yes, I said well look and showed him nobody was in with us.

Asked the guy behind the bar if the place was haunted and he said people have said so in the past.

About 18 year ago me and my mate were in rhyl, and down the promenade there's that blue bridge with the estuary running into the sea, two bloke were being pulled along in the estuary by a speedboat, the boat made a turn and not taking into account the two people being towed they got planted straight into the big concrete columns holding the bridge up. Both dead.

Also saw a spitfire crash back in 90-91 at woodford airshow killing the pilot outright.

Also saw a carwreck a good few years back round our way that had been in a police Chase, the car wrapped into a tree and one of the occupants legs had gone through the engine and came out through the front of the car.

Is this a thread about seeing bad things?

I drove down a recently bombed 'Road to Basara' in 1991, not a great thing to witness.

Also, going back a few years me and my cousin had been out to blue lagoon in bolton for the day, upon returning to Darwen his road was blocked off by the old bill,so knowing the streets we done a few cheeky jibs to the back of his house we got out of the car and I ran up this hill behind his house and bam!! I was right in the fucking middle of an armed siege with armed coppers screaming at me to get down on the deck, turns out that one of his neighbours had locked himself in the house with a shotgun. I got a royal bollocking from the coppers once they had moved me from the scene.
