Anyone recommend me a good high quality camera for live streaming to radio stations i will also be using it for recording 1 hour live mixes putting them on You Tube then onto my site,it will be on my ceiling facing down on my mixer & turntables so i am after all the parts i need to build it!...Be cool if i could control the zoom etc from a little joystick or something!...

when you say budget microphone what sort of price range you looking at?

Spend up to £200 - £250 i am after a warm sounding mic i do love my sound quality

I will have to build something like this it's looks a cheap way but might take to much room up:

Love to make this one:

hi morty. one thing i didnt mention last night, but thinking about it retrospect, i take you know its phantom powerd. so youlldneed a mixer/interface that supplys phantom power to the mike to make it work. thinking about the vocal booth. do you need a full booth? you could try the diy approach. for the mike you could try 1 of the reflection filter type baffles. se do 1 but mad money. studio spares do a cheeper version and if thinging about sorting the room out it may be cheeper to buy the base panals and just hang them off a couple of the self assembled clothes racks (the tubler steel type) you can get from argos 2 for a tenna, you can move these about to your hearts content and uze them as needs must. lots of pro studios use similer but more expensive items.

If you're on a budget you could also make a bit of a space in the wardrobe and put the mic in there. The clothes will do a great job of reducing reflections and the money you've saved can go towards the mic

Hi,the phantom power is fine :D i will go for a reflexion filter i would like to have a semi open type booth beside my setup so i can go back & forth even recording my own voice 1 liner raps to put at the end of bars putting a robot type vocoder on my voice i don't think i want to hear my own voice lol

If you're on a budget you could also make a bit of a space in the wardrobe and put the mic in there. The clothes will do a great job of reducing reflections and the money you've saved can go towards the mic

If i do get problems with reverb & it is really bad i will have to look into making a vocal booth in my wardrobe!...

This tune i made (late nineties) we went to a recording studio in Manchester to get the vocals done but silly me i did not ask for the recording of the vocals to take home with me so they are lost,i will now need to get a singer to re-sing all of this for me so i can give it a 2011 revamp,i was never happy with the mix down (the sounds got degraded expect the vocals) but it was my own fault i forgot to do something lol & there is a section i never wanted in the tune, the singer was awsome tho she just went in the vocal booth & basically sang it all in one take she was so talented i hope i can find another singer like her to re-sing it all for me...so i will be testing this microphone & booth (semi) revamping this tune (2011) & to give my label a good start!....

I am really excited about setting up a vocal booth well a semi booth!...so thankyou for the help!....

I have a mate who has a studio with a professional vocal booth it is really cool i know he would let me use it at anytime but its better to have your own!...

I have bought:

Rode NT1-A Complete Vocal Recording Solution
RoXdon VB-1 Vocal Booth Reflection Filter

They might actually arrive tomorrow i think i will have to buy a mic stand tho!..
