kind of way - he is definitely NOT a ledge. He's a bloody idiot. Completely no clue at all. He's not trying to be funny...he is racist, because he's probably the most ignorant person in the country.

most of us develop a certain level of social ettiquette cos we have to in order to get a job etc. he's never had to do that, he's a relic from a byegone era where they bobbed over to africa to shoot tigers "just for fun old bean", just so they could hang the head on the wall of their drawing room when they got home and brag about it to their mates.
not saying that is right, but go back even 30 years to the days of bernard manning, jim davidson etc. and most ppl wouldn't bat eyelid at most of the things he has said, and he was 60 even then.
maybe that doesn't excuse his words/actions, all i'm saying is that the man is 90 years old and he never made it into the 21st century cos he never had to. there's probs thousands of grumpy old men (and women) in this country that think exactly the same way as him, but their words never make it into the tabloid press.
sorry, i know he's crass and insensitive, but i stand by my original comments, some of the things he says make me laff and i can't help that :$
To me he's a ledge anyway and everyone's a little bit racist if you're playing that card, so i'm not casting any stones.
