Ok folks with festi season right on our doorstep.... 2 whole weeks to beatherder and and a couple of months until love4life im trying to get into the spirit of things.

Ive been given a challenge by my brother and Gaz to design and make a flag for our tent for beatherder........

one idea is a skull and crossbones with a smiley face (not really too original mind)

another is a cows face with a big flower with writing around it saying 'the herders'

there is also a fancy dress theme..... friday is flower power friday which speaks for itself...and sat night is anything beginning with 'E'. Ive seen all the usual ideas like Elvis, Ewok, elmo, elephant etc but nothing really appeals (havnt decided on doing the sat night yet depends on whether a good idea is easy enough to pull off whilst camping).

So if you have any ideas either for the flag or fancy dress id love to hear um :jumpin:

Not long to go now:dance:

No idea for the flag or fancy dress, but it's normally easy to find Leaky's tent due to the size of it;) I'll be taking a larger tent this time too now i've got a guest, so our camp should be easy to find, if you're joining us:thumbsup: :)

What time are u guys hoping to set up camp? i wanna get there nice and early n get sorted :$

Not sure to be honest Debs, I haven't thought that far ahead mate, but I might drop my tent off with Leaky as he's offered to put it up on thursday evening:king: Probably get there midday on friday though, possibly earlier, and leaving monday morning :thumbsup:

Still got nups's ticket and parking pass too, so will have to maybe meet him beforehand and get down there together.

We got a cracking spot last year that's easy to find, near the carpark and near the path, but nowhere's more than 5 minutes walk from the camp to the festi itself should you do your own thing:thumbsup: The toilets are always clean there too and very plentiful (take note Glasto, and Kendal Calling - you shower of sh!ts, literally;) ), but it's probably worth taking a bucket for those middle of the night (or mid convo) toilet breaks - if you can stand up in your tent;). There's showers there too, drinks are cheap and (for one shift) from the 2 best bar persons in the world:thumbsup: We'll see how Cushy ranks in the ratings after his shift though, but he might well be the 3rd best ;)

Seems to be a lot of last years crowd going again this time too, so I can't frigging wait for this:D :D

Earlier in the week they were predicting they'd sell out this weekend and yesterday they posted they were down to the last 100 tickets, so this really is your last chance folks;)

I'll have to check that docu out when I get the chance too Debs. Nice one:thumbsup:

caught bits of that documentary during the ad breaks for the golf debs, looked interesting will watch the rest of it later, cheers for the link :thumbsup:

jim, i'll catch up with u in the week and sort out the travel plans etc. if that's ok, booked off work from weds 29th to thursday 7th i think, so there should be plenty of time, both to get there and to recover lol ;)

ive been searching for an evil kenevil suite, but no joy :( without making one, its looking like i shall be just wearing a grin :D i really cannot wait for this, we need to get a plan sorted though for camping. i think i will be just setting up friday but if we time it right we can all get there at the same time and get set up in the same place. :D we need to sort a master plan ;)
