Whilst its true to say they pioneered backmasking (where a message is recorded backwards - apparently coming up with it when they were stoned and accidentally put the tape on back to front LOL!)... they weren't the first to experiment with the reverse tape effect.

Just saying.

Revolver is a class album tho! :D

Hi Coma m8 :D

Yes your right :D

Its all about that tune the bassline the drums the trippy feeling etc not just the reversing there is no doubt there would of been someone who played something backwards same as someone moved a record forwards & backwards,it totally amazes me that tune sounds like it was made yesterday i can't believe it was made in 1966!...It's the overall tune that changed music not just the reversing!...the tune makes you feel you are on drugs :fekked:

Also they brought art to music with that album cover!...

What if you weren't on drugs, you'd never took them, you didnt know what taking drugs was like! what would you feel then? a shit tune?? Just a question i thought id ask :)

It is a good question :D

I have asked older people in there seventies & later age about the Beatles they said i liked the Beatles untill they went a little do lally! ;) which i find so funny! :D

Cause they liked The Beatles - I want to hold your hand & The Beatles - When I'am Sixty Four etc

But to be fair i think its more to do with what areas of music you like & what makes you buzz etc.

Me personally i just love the big changes in music!..& The Beatles was just so far ahead of everybody!..a time i wished i lived through!...Beatles are just a band i appreciate thats whats it come down to for me!..
