Have no access to youtube at work but here are a few ive pulled out for the techno mix im preparing at the moment ... most of them a later than what i call old skool days but still techno classics for me being an orbit veterain until 2001 :thumbsup: which is the vibe im trying to recreate as a tribute mix ;)

Amazing record isnt it, just need to take a deep breath and pay the £40 for a good copy!!........thats the thing with techno its either prety crap or absolutely amazing. I thought I would put a small variety up with tracks like Garden of Lust being deep deep dutch techno but amazing through a large system to Peschi which is realy laid back.

Its funny how people desribe techno, Silky I would not call yours techno although many would. I used to go to a few techno nights at Club UK (Friday Nights) and Eurobeat 2000 a couple of times (Colin Favors and Brenda Russel club). We also used to be neighbours with 3 guys who realy loved their techno, every black dog track including unreleased etc.etc.etc. The common thread was they all hated break beats and a true techno track was a simple 4/4 beat without break ie drum pattern like Garden of Lust I posted above.

Techno people were very very snobby about their music and as I have got older I can understand this more and more.
