A decent earner for em, 75,000 a night so £8.25m

£55 a ticket + fees

For the 2 nights

They've also got a license for 3 nights so most likely Sunday will be for sale at 10am if Friday / sat sold out

I'll go but no doubt will be disapointed with Ian's rubbish singing the poor sound and the amount of scallies

I've seen Ian Brown and Mani too, and maybe other members at the Versus Cancer gigs, but I haven't seen the Stone Roses collectively  I'm not sure what to expect this time round to be honest and this being outside, it could be a wash out, and if you go on one of the later days it might even be a mudbath:lol:

The upside though is that if it's warm and sunny, then it's going to be fecking brilliant  There will also be a few other acts on, maybe other old school indie bands:thumbsup:

I'm just wondering how to play this. Whether to roll up on the day and buy a ticket or 2 off a tout if the weather is looking fine, or buy one for the first night and not be trampling through mud all day.

You knows it!

im tempted to buy a couple of tickets just to give me the option of going or sticking them on e-bay hoping for a bit of profit, never done it before, but by the way people are talking its gonna sell out straight away, i saw them at spike island and to be honest although it was a good day, i wasn't there for the music, it was just a day out with the lads, i was never a huge fan of the indie thing and could never understand how the whole indie thing and acid house scene seemed to be connected. they certainly werent for me.

dont get me wrong i like thier songs but can take them or leave them. good call on the weather though, deffo should be opting for the Friday, but if it clashes with Beatherder theres no contest to where i will be heading.

You've got a good point there Leaky. It might be Beatherder that weekend and i'm not missing that.

Then again, they risk losing out on potentially 225,000 people if it is that weekend, so they might do the following week, but I think i'll pass on the tickets for now just in case.

Probably a bit of a gamble buying some to tout on ebay though given the potential 3 day slot playing to so many people.

hmm good point Jim, not sure now, but i like a little flutter, i don't think it will clash with Beatherder, but maybe too close for us getting sitters for a full weekend is pushing it enough without going off the weekend before too.

wheres the place to buy tickets, I'm thinking of ticketmaster, as i buy tickets from there usually and have an account set up.
