......Trebles or in some cases Quadruples?

After buying a recent collection I have ended up with alot of doubles some of which are prety rare and valuable records....some of which are not.

Question is do I keep the more expensive doubles until a rainy day or sell the lot keeping only the best. I also have a few examples like Jesse Saunders On and On of Jessay, got 2x white label and 1x very very rare black label (1 of 500 only). The record is great and the whites seem to go circa £100+. Gut instinct says keep them but the wallet says punt one out!! I have many many more like this and ive run out of storage space!!

If I do sell some up (maybe after christmas) other than the normal stuff, OSA will have first picks.

Depends on the tune, if its worth a bob or 2 or I know I could probably get one of my wants for it i'll probs swap em, other than that usually give them away to mates who want or dont have them.

when i find myself in that situation (not often:( ) i sell just to be able to buy more and more for myself :D i find people only pay what they want so tunes i think are valuable sometimes dont shift but those that i think wont move fly out...

my observation is that, at the moment people aren't paying as much as they used to either, probably a sign of the times :(

shout though when you do sell and i will have a gander myself:D

Dont worry, I am realistic about prices, nearly all of my discogs are the cheapest on there and if they are not then I will match the lowest price if simular condition and UK based.

I've given a few away and kept quite a few. I've also been given a few back so it's not always one way traffic.

I'm not a seller though, i'm a collector and i've never sold a tune yet, but i've never needed to.
