Seems to be regional differences when it comes to a cooked breakfast as i've had the odd strange (to me) English breakfast in recent weeks. One came with potato wedges and the other with onion rings:crazy:

For me a full English breakfast should be:

Bacon
Sausage
Egg
mushrooms
beans
tomatoes
black pudding (optional)

With toast and marmalade to finish with.

What's the regional cooked breakfast in you area, or what's your perfect cooked breakfast, or strangest?

Beans
Hash Browns
Fried Bread (2 - yum)

Anything else is just wrong imo :D

I'll take eggs anyway they come, Jim

I'm quite partial to the Canadian version of eggs benedict though as my favourite way to cook scrambled eggs though:cool: I'm not sure what they mix in with the eggs, but it's damn tasty

Pretty much what you said Jiggs, only nothing should be fried (I know I know) AND HOLD THE BLACK PUDDING (barf)…well, aside from the mushrooms in a bit of butter. If it's dripping with grease it is inedible for me. Poached eggs as well maybs, but this is only if I cook it really, if I'm out, I know there is no where that will cater to my needs, so Im not as fussy.

As for hot breakies, you can't go wrong with poached eggs on wholemeal, boiled eggs with dippy asparagus spears, or a shed load of scrambled (done in a pan, loads of salt and pepper).

Had a nice brecky in Calgary a few years back, 16oz T bone steak with 3 fried eggs, mmmmmmm!:D

Fave eggs are defo runny poached ones. Had two of them on white toast with two pieces of black pudding for brecky today, nice.

A twist on the english breakfast

I discovered a new brekkie last year which I named the Mexican breakfast as they probably do this or something very similar.
In summer I got up one morning and we had no sausage or bacon or bread, not a good start.
So I gathered up what we did have in the kitchen and knocked this little beauty up!
If you like mexican or spicy food this ones for you :)

I fried up some chorizo, spring onions, mushrooms and garlic and a few de seeded chillies.
Take out the pan and make a basic cheese omlette in the oil and juice from the chorizo etc.
Take this out the pan then drop in tortilla to warm for a minute or two then add half the omlette and half the other fillings, fold over the tortilla and flip it over to toast the other side slightly.
Do the same again with the remaining ingredients and another tortilla and ARRIBA!

The Mexican Breakfast for two:mexican::D

Mine would be:

2x bacon
2x sausages
fresh tomato, grilled
LOADS of mushrooms
beans
2x scrambled or poached egg
hash brown

hold the toast/fried bread as just no need. Would rather fill up on something more worth while! Lol.

coke, blowjob, JD

Ditto. Obviously being brought up in the same household has something to do with it lol.
