I still think it is a great idea to have all live DJ sets coming on automatically when you come onto the site. I think if people are giving up their time to entertain us, then lets try and give them as big an audiance as possible. :thumbsup:

This is a crackin idea,yet we seem to be goin round in circles again n again on so many issues concerning the audience particapation on osa radio.
Its a no brainer when over 100 guests are visiting osa to give them access to live and auto dj,if there not keen on what their hearing then im sure theyll turn off.If i was playing and 100 people were tuned in i would get a massive buzz as any dj loves to play to a bigger audience.
Just wandering is it the financial side of things thats holding this splendid idea back or is it the case of osa doesnt need it.Would love to get some answers on this even if its a no go situation at least were aware and this thread can finally end.

Maybe test it for a month see how it goes.

Flash player to auto tune in at the top with on and off buttons.

most of the guests that are on the site aint real people 95% of them are search engine spiders (indexing the pages for the search engines) so there wouldnt be any real increase anyways - if there was actually 130 odd visitors it would be worth giving a whirl.

take for instance right now there is 2 members and 9 actual guests browsing the site and there is 7 tuned to the radio. on currently active users its got 119 - the actual numbers to the numbers generally tuned are generally pretty good.

promotion of shows through facebook/twitter etc is the best way to get more listeners - ive been looking at the newer version of vbulletin (the forum software) that has better integration with these and will look at getting it wacked on (will have some time next month)
