this was mine, I had a silver one, my mate had a black one and we had these weird black plastic contraptions that slipped over the handlebar instead of the grips that you could rev and it made a motorbike noise lol.
Also remember another battery operated one that had a little plastic button like a doorbell that made siren noises when you pressed it :cops:

It was a red one with white tyres and had stablisers on it for a while until I could ride without them. Probably the bike i've loved the most

It was taken off me though after I rode along a main road to a friends house after school, back when I was in class 1 at primary school:(

I might well have had a tricycle before that, but my memory is very hazy:think:

sure i had a trike as a toddler, but the 1st bike i can remember was what we called a Tracker, cant find any photos but everyone had one in the late 70s, and the smaller the front cogg the better  kids walking to school would overtake you whilst you peddled your heart out and didn't hardly move  i cant seem to find any photos but they were usually knocked up affairs with a front cog robbed from a lawn mower, you either had a tracker or a racer, my 1st tracker had huge cow horn bars and a banana seat with a back rest, it was a bit of a mish mash, i wasn't allowed to take my cycling proficiency test due to the width of my bars, but from memory ever kid sported a little cogg a pair of nobbly tyres and the really lucky ones had a pair of Renthals and if you had one of those bolt on Renthal bar strengthener things with a bar pad sporting the word Renthal. you were the envy of the estate :D

1 st was Raleigh striker, then grifter, then chopper, the puch racer of some kind, then Raleigh race bike....was quite nice with Reynolds frame etc then gt Kasparov with 1991 frame and now for last 5 years Klein attitude.

Had a few bmx's on the way but never got the freestyler I wanted.

I had a Tonka tricycle...like this -

I remember I had 'parked' it on its side behind a neighbours car (I was only little and didn't realise). her car was one of those old Volvo estates, akin to a tank. She tried reversing - but the Tonka held true and she couldn't drive back.

The bike was fine after, not many bikes would have been. I don't know about the car... :p

I think I had one of these bad boys (after all the little bikes with stabilisers etc and something with which you could go dead fast on)

It had a hand break on it and I used to go down this big hill and then do a hand break skid at the bottom, it was AWESOME:thumbsup:

I had a BMX when I was a bit older, it was a 'Raleigh Destroyer', it was like a BMX with massive wheels like a mountain bike and it was shit for bunny hops cos it was to heavy lol:(

i had drooled over this bike in the window of harry halls (bike shop in town) for months, any opportunity n i'd be off to have a look.i used to get the bus into town just to go n see this bike. then a couple of weeks b4 christmas i went to see it and it had gone  first memory of being totally gutted about summat :( i remember being down about it for a few days til the thought entered my head that mebbe my folks had bought it me. after a good look round the house with no joy it was back to my previous gutted state
a few days later we were at my gran's dropping prezzies off when i thought "if they bought it,it'll be here." so had a mooch round my gran's and in her spare room i clocked a purple mag wheel poking out from under a dustsheet. there she was the bike of my dreams, and it was mine!!
