Appears nobody is going to break the ice and post a review on here so I may as well start.

Well, where do I start…..???

I shall take you back to the Wednesday before the event when there was a loss of power to the venue – not to the rest of the complex just BUZZ.

The electricity board came to fix it on Thursday and failed and said they would come back Friday. As a failsafe In The Pink Leisure hired the generator that some of you spotted at the side of the building. The electricity board came to fix it on Friday and failed and said they had been unable to locate the fault. The generator people were hoping to get the generator hooked up at 11.00 am Saturday. Due to having to drill through several walls and needing a cable longer than they had brought we did not have power to the venue until Saturday afternoon.

So a big shout out from me to Paul Smith, the manager, all the staff at BUZZ for helping get the venue ready and Martin and the crew from West Coast who were on stand-by all afternoon to put the sound system in. It all came together in the end, somehow, apart from a problem with one of the decks that we had to bear with.

To my partners in vinyl John, Matt, Chris and Andy – thanks for all your extra help in getting the venue sorted.

To witness the result of all our efforts and to read all the nice feedback on Facebook and in private messages makes it all worthwhile….

Heartfelt thanks on behalf of all the DJs for your support and for being such a fantastic crowd to entertain.

Put the 7th July 2012 in your diary folks - we are 21 !!!

Jaysus christ, this place is falling flat on its arse regards posting stuff nowadays or what?


Reet, where do i start?
We got there about nine and parked directly opposite Buzz and Barrie was outside, so we thought sod it, we'll hang on with Bazz for the usual crew instead of hitting the Pre4 bar, as Jiglo and Leaky were ringing on the way saying it was ques out the door and near impossible to get served in Gilleuspes, so no ta and we'll keep bazza company.
Then some of the usual heads started appearing and the craic and buzz outside started to become electric (Nowt to do wi that Genset the eleccy board set up!)

We went down to Guilleuspes to grap Jim, Leakey, Jemma and thier mate Earnest when they couldnt understand a word on the phone due to the din!

So we finally got in Buzz, the new home for Jenks, and WOW! Really!
Liquid lounge kinda had *That* feel, this place was lacking it somewhat, but what it did have was a personality of its own, there were a few of the regular faces missing this night due to illness, popping out babies and other commitments, but once everyone of the regulars present found * Their* spot, it started to come alive. i reckon with all of us in there its gonna be fuckin unbeatable!!!!
There is a stage off to the left with dancing cages for the poseurs and those up for it, a pool table area, a warren of chill tunnels leading to the bogs with seating where conversation can be held comfortably over the music, a covered smoking / chill area, a big couched are near the bogs, and a big wide bar.

The only thing missing from this night was the faces! If we all hit the next one , its gonna be awesome, and can only go onward and upwards

I like the part about the wide spacious bar area I am sure that will be very usefull , I will be at the next one.
