Saw something in a thread the other day about deactivating fb, I done it earlier today because it's shit. Gonna come on here everyday instead as there is no spammy rubbish about dead puppies or glow in the dark trainers. Plus the majority of my friends on fb are on here and my normal friends that are not on here I actually see on a regular basis.

just got to sort the missus now, she shares facecrap leakage with some real random people.

some bloke stacking ryvita in tesco said he saw pics of my wedding! turns out he's 'friends' with the missus. not any more...

It does feel good, was spending too much time on fb and it was doing my head in tbh.

I prefer the privacy on here too, which means although people who come on here can see what I put , but it feels a little more contained rather than every man and his dog seeing what I post on fb. Plus I was posting a lot of random shit that my employers could see.

me too, I haven't deactivated (that makes me laugh, there is no delete ya profile button) I have soimply switched to using facebook as bak2wax

still need to promote the night n stuff

lol, to I tick the 'post to facebook' button before I post this??? :confused::confused::confused:

That was surreal! I think I might have to give facebook a miss for a while. I can't believe that replying to someones post with a bit of common sense to balance out the negativity can cause someone to proper flip :crazy:

Not sure if FB just unfriended us, deleted the posts, or banned the other person for constantly using my name in every post to give me some shit. Bonkers! Where is the love?:D

Yeah I will be switching to bak2wax profile this weekend too and try get more stuff going in here , music & humour. Got a new mix to go up in members bit too after I've played the set out on Saturday night :)

I just got bored of reading something from a poster and threw my tuppence worth into the mix. It so annoyed the person that I would dare to challenge his opinion, or at least have the opinion I had, that he started a few other separate posts with *my name* said this and *my name* said that. I sent him a friendly message telling him to remove my name from his campaign against me or i'll get a mod to remove them and he then posted my private message (that i'd sent to him privately to be diplomatic) there with ''*my name* said .....'' and ended it with ''the soft shite''

It was at that point when I told him to ''.... show up or grow up'' and then shortly after all those posts disappeared. Maybe he just unfriended me or a mod took action, but I think he's bordering the fine line between sanity and insanity to flip like that over an opinion, especially as I was calm, relaxed and backed up my opinion, until he called me a soft shite :ba:
