50p is the shop limit for all records, 12's or LP's...however, I have been and slipped them a 20 note donation when I have had a complete touch with something thats not for me but for sale...it is a charity shop after all and I like to do my bit when I can. I have 3 absolutely diamond chazzer shops that I frequent, but the main one is like a gold mine and I prob spend £20 a week in there, also been buying vintage clothing, lol...you would just not believe how much that is worth Sam, bought a suit for £3 last week, sold it straight away for £75, was a very well made suit mind, made out of very expensive tweed stuff, was tempted to keep it, but not my scene...would look like Sherlock Holmes.
The vinyl sales at the car boot sales this year went bonkers half way through the season, all of a sudden there were loads of dealers turning up first thing trying to buy in bulk...the upshot was that the price went up to average 50p for 12's and a quid for LP's. I'm sure the house clearance boys and girls will be setting up record plots next year with mentally high prices for their stuff, don't bother me...I am really focussed on what I am after and what sells for me.
The ironic thing about the charity shop I get most of my stuff from is, they have a record event 1 or 2 times a year, where they have litterally 1000's of records out at dealer prices derived from ebay sellers...but they never price up the dance stuff cos it's too hard to list and track down, lol, so it just waits in the back and slowly gets put out into general population as and when...which allows me to snap it up at my leisure.
I would be only too happy to keep an eye out for you if you have any specific wants, I am not interested in making any profit from OSA crew so your not gonna pay more than ten bob.
