I have been looking to play on other sites, I do a weekly on RP, infact it's me, adz, ollie and reet, but really need to reach a wider audience to bring new people to, or back to, OSA...everytime I search I come up with nothing...some shit USA sites on Shoutcast or Unity...I get the distinct feeling that OSA is on it's way out due to lack of interest and new content is sparse...I'm not any good at writing stuff or I would attempt to fill the forums up a bit with something worth reading....but I can play and am actively seeking for peeps to poach and shamelessly plug OSA. I have a link and description to OSA on my soundcloud page which must guide some peeps here cos I have a healthy number of listeners on SC. Where else can you listen to Old School House?

soundcloud means that many people have no need to go anywhere else for old school house. would it be younger people who listen to you on SC? i only ask because hardly anyone i know listens to OSA type music nowadays. they've all "grown up". there's just me. if i played an old carl cox tape in the car me missus would bin it pronto and she's 18 months younger than me!

maybe there aren't many places to listen to "our" music because there's only us who care and everyone else doesn't give a fuck. apart from the listeners on SC who are ,maybe, more curious than interested as to what all the fuss was about back in the day.

finally, thanks to M.O.S. and the like, the market has been awash with old skool compilations for years and many people can get their kicks from them and have no need to search any further than the glovebox of their car for an old skool fix. :(

it'd be great for OSA to have more articles and interviews about clubs/djs from way back when. i post frequently on djhistory and when things are slow over there (truth is it's been slow for some time ;)) there's always a resources section which is full of interviews to read and it gets updated...now and again.

My House
Good on ya PK  try that renegade radio? They seem to get better listener numbers.

nicely put tho Ivan...

I don't think many people use the internet or their computers to listen to music anyway whatever the genre. Maybe in time this will change. NONE of my mates listen to music regularly some even saying they don't at all and we all used to party together  Music is always on in our house, I have speakers in the bathroom ceiling ffs.

People move on though, and like you say, don't give a fuk about something thats now 20-25 years on.. Maybe it's been done to death and is just now up to a faithfull few who still run nights and websites to keep it real. These oldskool nights are full to bursting so there is the listeners about, like I say, who sits infront of the PC listening to tunes. Not the majority I suggest.

suppose i maybe one of your typical visitors. i visit this site quite a lot for a look around and listen to the radio and have done for a few years. i am also not the best for writing stuff on forums and coming up with interesting stuff to post, so i end up not logging in and becoming one of your many guests. other sites offer video with chat and seem to have fully booked schedule of djs, but no where near the content osa has. it would be a massive shame for this site to come to an end. ive wanted to be a part of osa (posting and djing) but never really had the balls!
