G'day everyone,

My name is Matthew. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I stumbled upon this forum whilst searching for Music Identification services to try and ID a heap of tracks from the 80s and 90s. I have a large collection of Vinyl & CDs that I love but I am always on the lookout for more  I hope I can help others with the IDs of some tracks phones:

Cheers,
Matthew

G'Day.

You will see on the forum Tune ID which will serve your purposes very well. You will need a short low rate sample and simply post away. It amazes me how some people have so much knowledge of the music. I'm pretty good but can't hold a candle to these guys.

You mentions 80's to 90's, quite a wide spectrum, what genres etc? I'm a Pom living in Central Brisbane who bought over 6000+ records from early 80's (few earlier) up to about 1993, (few later but not many). Found a great record dealer here who will be providing my fix for early Chicago still plus Discogs which generally is great although be careful of condition.

Thanks for your welcome. I like a broad range of music, so it's easier to state what genres I don't like - Classical, Opera & Heavy Metal :p

My collection is mostly electronic - Dance, Trance, House, Techno - but I also have some Pop and Rock compilations and a bit of Reggae too. Wow, I thought I had a big collection but that is insane!

Cheers,
Matthew
