A very nice set from JR featuring many quality harder edged House cuts, including some classics from the previous year such as 'The Grid - Crystal Clear', 'My Friend Sam - It's My Pleasure' and 'DOP - Groovy Beat'

Can I ask that people don't stick this mix, or the scan of tape cover on Facebook please. If I wanted them to go on Facebook, I'd put them on there myself. Thanks.

I didn't have a lot of house tapes, but this was probably my favourite. I must have listened to it 50 times.
Got a copy from a mate in the West Mids
Great set from Justin Robertson!

A mate of mine introduced me to J.R's mixtapes back in the 90s and I though they were wicked. I would imagine his sound is very different these days though. What was funny was even a mate who hated rave/techno, and liked grunge, really got into his tapes because JR would play things like remixes of The Grid-Swamp Thing, and coming from Manchester, there was a definite indie influence to his sets. Thanks for the share dude!

I had forgot how good this set was tbh, had it on 3 times today while scanning flyers and cooking.
If anyone has an orig copy or a decent bootcopy of this tape I will be more than happy to buy it off ya (y)

Track 13 is this = P.J. Master - Its My Beat, I think it could be the plastic mix but not sure, I

Im 100% sure track 24 is Bowa all I need - Your Love, which I also have on vinyl, at first I thought is was the D.O.P track Groovey Beat, has it has the same sample, but it isnt same track, so I reckon it is the Bowa track, not sure which mix though..
The white lable mix seems to almost match but I reckon its one of the other mixes.
