Danny Rampling - Tuff Cuts, January 1992 (Green Tape)

Here's a rip of a tape I had back the day that disappeared, as they all seemed to. Matt G shared a pink Rampling - Tuff Cuts tape rip a while back, but this is a different mix.

Quick someone download it sharpish and post it up on MixCloud! 😐

Thanks for the mix.

I've noticed that Erik the Red reposts many of the mixes added to this site on Mixcloud. I suppose it works both ways as Mixcloud has been a good source recently for some tapes.
Very true, except I'll say when I grab them off MixCloud. This guy probably doesn't even post on comment on here, just downloads mixes to added to his page. I'm a big believer in crediting or thanking people. Some don't I guess, which I think is shit.

His pages on MixCloud says that whoever it is in Boston USA. That Superwave guy that gets a semi on over Sasha and Oakenfold doesn't post in here anymore. He was in the US.

It's not superwave (Christopher Stroud), Erik, is someone else. I used to get loads of PM's from him asking for mixes. I never really had a problem with it, but I get annoyed when you get request after request, after request. You start to realise that it's more like consumption. People listen to a mix once, then move on to the next one and the next one and the next one. I wonder sometimes if they actually listen and enjoy them. You certainly don't get to appreciate mixes listening to a mix once. Sometimes it feels more like they are interested in getting likes and listen statistics, it's like they think that they are an 'influencer' on YouTube.

Totally agree Chris. Jonny and I were saying exactly this ^ earlier. It's crazy. I think some of only want to mixes so they have them, not even to listen to them. But totally agree, good mixes get better and better the more you listen to them for sure.

What about that Simon on the Sasha group earlier?! Your comments were hilarious. 😂
