the tape was found in a garage & posted on soundcloud/facebook yesterday

Leiam Sullivan (Sully)
... a long time ago in, in a town not too far away, quite a few of us on here knew what was happening down at our local club called 'Pacha'.
30 years ago today was probably the most amazing House Night Rotherham has ever seen. It was a Mixmag Party with guest DJs Sasha, Mike Pickering, Gary Norman and myself warming up.
It was a Monday night... The place was heaving
The story goes that Sasha nearly didn’t show up because he was tired from flying back to the UK from Sydney. After numerous phone calls from Dan Prince (Mixmag), Sasha eventually got a cab and came over from Manchester.
Sasha’s set was known to be recorded, though over the years it could never be found: There’s a few wrongly named versions on the net.
For years Gavin Cook has asked if anyone had the tape and last year a copy turned up in a Rotherham mans garage (Craig Moffatt). The tape quality was really poor, so we’ve restored it to a decent, audible level. Where we can feel what’s going on without going too far.
We heard Sasha's sets a lot back then and after listening to the tape, we really felt this was a classic example. We’d go as far to say it’s a perfect example!

Thanks Scott. My favorite that has appeared for a while is the 3 hours from Better Days in Toronto in 1996, for what he was playing then it was a really underground set
