Anyone remeber The Nice Party...indie group from Runcorn...

They were just about to blow uo big and just seemed to disappear in a haze of mushroom vapour...late 80's...early 90's...members went on to be in The Drakes, 35 summers, moon...but they did have an ep called "grooveness" ...which I have but can't find it anywhere else at all.

I was the keyboard player of the Nice Party, There was 4 of us Russ Williams, Dave "Uptown" Upton, Garry Hodgeson and Me James Hancox. I have seen Dave a few times and also Russ but however Gaz dissapeared possibly up the feathers. Russ plays with a bluegrass band, Dave is still doing his own thing, Gaz joined my band "The opium poets" . I am still doing it after having several bands and have pages of my music my solo stuff is here SoundClick artist: JCH (UK) - I have been recording music for around 25 years and it is to a certain standard, If you like it get and I am currently doing a project with Sean Simpson who was in the real people which we have called "mono" here SoundClick artist: Mono (uk) - Playing music as unmusically as possible but creating compelling and original new trracks for the co.
