   Typical Fooking Man U !! always do it in 91st min !!!!
to be honest they kicked our ass and it just shows the void between the top 4teams and the rest of the premier / lower leagues (TC & Leicester lol ), how can teams compete with them, when they got deep pockets and can buy top players to sit and keep their benches warm:confused: FA should cap the amount of players and money a team can spend to make all the leagues a lot fairer.

TC justice will be done when Fulham whip ya ass in the reply  cant believe your gloating over a team you dont support :naughty: glory hunter;)

anyways we have only got to play ManU again this Saturday at old Trafford:S payback me thinks :$ and 3 easy points for us :$ :moonie: lol

AVFC Forever

United have made their own money though, thanks to on the field success during the 90s, and well marketed merchandise.. Plus we dont have unlimited funds like chelskiscum, who operate making a yearly loss off over 150 million :S there is talk of a transfer cap based on teams yearly turnover... which would probably mean the rent boys having a grand total of £0 to spend! Now, That would be funny :D

what a load of bollocks easty! show me the proof!

blueview.co.uk - Messageboard

follow the link on that thread, and check on the web for sales of replica shirts. City sell the 4th most in the country and seeing as 98% percent of our fans come from manchester you do the sums. Are u really gonna talk shit and say united make more of their cash in Manchester than they do outside it. Your no different than chelsea, you might generate the cash but its not manc money, just the same as chelsea's or west hams is not theres, the only difference is that theres is all from 1 man where as uniteds is spread out between millions of non mancunian fans, one of which you are

1) a ciddy website is hardly gospel fact..
2) 98% of your fans are not mancs. Fact. If they were, how come stockports so empty match days. I know more ciddy fans who are from stockport than i do that are from manchester. (not to mention all my mates from school and growing up.. usually 20 to 1 ratio in uniteds favour
or does "salford" not count as manchester to you?
3) I suppose that you are not counting the millions of shirts sold in the megastore as not being in manchester?
4) the difference between us and chelski is that we have made and continue to make money. Chelski dont make money, they just take from abramovics pot.
5) considering United are the most popular and supported club in the entire world, it would be stupid to say they make more cash from manchester than they do elsewhere...

no if u checked the link then you would see that the study was carried out by the university of manchester, nothing what so ever to do with Manchester city
Next up, Salford is not in Manchester, its a totally different city, with its own council and cathedral, they just happen to be situated next to one another
Now you've talked a load of crap and I'm just putting you right, manchester city were not to question here.
Chelsea get there money from a russian, your an american owned team who makes most of their money of people who have never been to old trafford, or if they have it was for a day trip where united probably rinsed em by taking there cash for a t shirt and a trip round a museum
and btw, uniteds success had fukk all to do with the 80's, united have been the biggestclub since the munich air disaster, that was the turning point in uniteds history

the link was just to a city website! there was no study! its still irrelevant coz 98% of your fan base isnt from manchester, which makes any of the "sums" you keep doing totally inaccurate anyway..

the glazers have took all our cash, not given us a bottomless pit of cash ala chekski... and so what if we make a load of cash sellin shirts around the world? If city had been one tenth as successful as United you'd probably have more support and then at least be able to fill your council house once in a while.

And if you read my post properly :p you will see that i said on the field sucess during the 90s not 80s. The introduction of Sky and the premiership boosted the cash for the winners of the league (and we happened to win it more than anyone else - meaning more $$$ for us) not to mention the fact we won the fa cup loads, oh and theres the unprecedented "real" treble we won back in 99. Thats where a large chunk of our cash came from:thumbsup:

LOL quality debate

Woody it always amazes me the short memories United fans have. It wasn't 2 years ago when everyone was going to "boycott" games against Glazer and lets not forget the wonderful Rio, the pillar of society (seen last week meeting John Reid to discuss approaches to youth inclusion  )

The ignorance & arrogance of rags fans holds no boundaries. The "ha ha City's ground is owned by the council" never fails to make me laugh. Give me that any day of the week than being £700 Million (!!!!) :$ in debt to American bankers. Laugh at chelski all you like, at least Abramovich has the money to run the club at a loss - the Glazers, oh dear a £700 million loan making rags THE most debt ridden club in the country by a long way - rising seat prices, further marginalisation of grass roots supporters, soulless corporate promotion etc etc -the rags represent a shining example of EVERYTHING that is wrong with football today......

Never mind though they are winning, thats all that matters isn't it?

i agree totally about the debt / glazers! i would rather be as we were 2 years ago than owned by them and riddled with debt, but whats done is done and i will always support my team through thick and thin. The only small glimmer of hope is that there is no possible way that they can be in it for a quick buck.. If the figures bandied about are correct then it beggars belief that any banks and manchester united would have agreed to the deal in the first place, but even if they are correct, then they must have had some sort of business plan showing how they were goin to cover payments and the like... they are successful business men and i doubt they would take on something like this if they didnt know what they were doing.
In reality, if the figures are correct then unless we win every premiership champions league and fa cup every single year not to mention squillions of overpriced merchandise sales, then we could very well go the same way as Leeds (scum) :p

On the chelsea side of it.. If it wasnt United im damn sure you'd prefer a team to make its own money through shirt sales, gate receipts and on the field success' than a club with no history, & shit support to be suddenly handed a bottomless pit of cash because their new mafia owner wants to play god :S i know which id prefer, regardless of the team it was

no I'd rather the bloke sat next to me in the stadium spoke the same language and even better with the same accent than bothered about who was paying the wages

I agree with you Easty. The amount of times I've been sat in the North Stand at Old Trafford and have wanted to twat the gimps around me doesn't bear thinking about.

I was going to every home game a couple of years ago, (someone elses season ticket) and the people around me made me stop watching the match and gawp at the whoppers surrounding me.
This is exactly what surrounded me every home game, (this isn't an exaggeration, this is EXACTLY what it is like where I was sat in the North Stand)....

The guy next to me on my left sat there every game with a Tesco's carrier bag, filled with butties and a flask of tea, reading the match program, chatting shit to himself with a big fuck off daft hat on and offering sweeties to everyone around him, the guy next to me on my right had his three kids sat to his right on the next three seats, all with different full kits on (shorts and socks included, in fucking February ffs.....) shouting "Go on Johno" (presumably to John O'Shea......when Ryan Giggs had the ball....(I shit you not), in front of me was a miserable old bastard that would moan about any (and I mean ANY) decision "that were rubbish linesman" (in a strange Lancastrian twang), next to him was a row of various Irish blokes (different ones every match, always getting the stewards to point out where their seats are), all with the newest United top on, (usually a couple of sizes too small), scarves and Megastore bags full of tat. Behind me was a moaning old bastard (that spent the every game slagging off Giggs), and his sour faced bint of a wife.

There was one lad in our section that was cool, (he was on the furthest right near the various daytripping Irish blokes), but he and I would get moaned at for having the cheek to stand up, sing and God forbid, swear.
"There's children and ladies here lads"
"It's a football match, not a fucking library, you cnut" being my usual reply.

I rarely go to the match anymore.
I honestly have a better time, (and an infinately better conversation) with normal lads (United and City) in the boozer watching it on telly.
