here is the reply that i got from this wonderful seller

I think you'll find that many buyers have come back and bought from me time and again, so obviously they're not really that bothered about the postage costs. And to be honest, it's quite sad that you have nothing better to do with your time than send me messages about my postage costs! No one's making you buy from me are they? No. So what makes you think i care for your opinions? Because i really don't!
How's about you get a hobby to fill your time!!
Bye

he he, I wasn't even rude to him when i mailed him :D

only one thought about that the guy is a total wanker:mad:
be ineresting to see how my tune turns up

Lou the fact that you have paid all that money and they couldnt even be bothered to package the tunes properly means that they have skanked ya big time.

Try get a discount or refund love. Did you get these tunes pretty cheap too cause some sellers rip you off on postage to make that extra bit ya see.

Good luck though hun

yea the tunes were really cheap, like £1.31, but thats not the point is it, they still shudnt be able to rip you off like that :(

its my own fault too for not checkin the postage out properly :$
i mean they didnt even put em in a cardboard sleve, at least they cost about a quid, so would have seemed a bit more reasonable, but they used sum cheapo bubblewrap and brown paper. aren't they also sposed to put some sort of support in wih them? (to keep em from bending)

I've currently got my eye on something on ebay, but postage is 3.85.
I really detest paying that- would you pay 3.85 for a track you really wanted?Or would you wait until a similar 12 came along for say 2.50?

That's nothing that, the user 'quadheads' on ebay had Laura Palmer up with the postage at £7.99 :cops:

I won't bid if the postage is too high, fuck em, another copy will come along, they're just like buses and as I'm an old man, I'm happy to walk along in the rain until I see the next bus...

It annoys me most when I make a bid and find out that they don't accept PayPal. It's only happened twice mind, but it's the inconvenience of dusting off my cheque book and going through the old rigmarole of posting it instead of the 3 or 4 steps with paypal:|

Might just be me being lazy:)

I do tend to look at postage before bidding though and wont bid if it's too high unless the record is particulary cheap, or hard to find:)

Slightly off topic, but one thing Ebay should do is force Sellers to declare their postage rates (Domestic or world wide if this option is offered). I agree that as things currently stand, you should email the seller if rates aren't displayed before bidding (common sense to most i know), but i think eager buyers do get caught out by what are quite often unfair postage rates (Alot of them from european sellers). I recently looked at an italian sellers list and saw a detroit track i fancied and emailed him to be told that postage would be £6 for one 12". This is crazy as I only charge £3.20 to europe and I know for a fact that Italian postage is amongst the cheapest. By making sellers declare their rates, it avoids nasty shocks on invoices later. update if your interested!........

Finally got a reply after months LOL! they emailed me askin for feedback but i said no until they replied to my msg, and heres the answer i got..........

The cost of packaging is stated on the item description, you should not have purchased the items if you did not agree the on the price. You will not be getting a refund. And if you leave negative feedback i will do the same for you. You have no reason to complain as like i said the costs are there on the item description and you still chose to buy them.

They are right i spose, but still dont justify the £8 postage wen it cost em £1.77

oh well i will make sure i read the small print next time!!! :condom:

I emailed the seller the link to this thread, and told him he wouldn't have to worry about shipping any records to me, thanks to his piss-poor service. Here's the response:

"Don't you people have anything better to do with your time?
Fucking loser!"

I think this really strikes a nerve with him. Anyone else willing to have a go at it?
