just watched tonights eviction prog (not having watched any of the other episodes)... have to say it seemed extremely staged & at one stage I expected Jade to break down & apologise for the colonialisation of India (she might've had some trouble saying it mind), for African slavery & in general for being white & British...

Yes she's thick as pig shit & epitomises everything that is wrong with this country but should she be used as a sacrificial scapegoat in this way ??

To draw a parallel it was like watching a British version of Harry Enfields "I vish to apologise for my countries conduct during ze war"

She did come across as the protector and carer for Jacquie, and good on her for doing so. It will in my opinion, be a great shame if her life is ruined by the media hyping up some bitchy ignorance...........which is not racism.

Makes my blood boil that such an ignorant person can be given national TV time and be so ignorant as to warrant a ban on crowds outside for fear of her safety?

An obvious case of "I'm a girl with pictures in whatever tabloid", I must be good and people must LOVE me.........

Regardless of whether she made racist comments or not, she was a nasty bully. Her boyfriend seems like he's had a lobotomy. It will be interesting to see how long they last when out of th house. My guess is a week, as he is, dare I say it, even more shallow than her.

It's blown up way bigger than it should have, but I thought the real problem in there was bullying, but the media seem dead set on making an issue out of racism instead - which to me in the house was really rather trivial:S

I'll bet Jade isn't finished though;)

you kinda make out like we should feel sorry for her about her upbringing, thus kinda in a way excusing her behaviour.

What about the (apparent) revelations that Jade is herself of mixed race backround due to her black father, and that her mother has been a practicing Muslim for 9 years? The same woman who asked if "the indian" lived in a shack, refused to say Shilpa's name properly and denounced as 'white trash' infact being an intolerant muslim........perhaps with Shilpa being Indian, there were issues there over the bitterness of the partitioning of India into an Islamic Pakistan that still runs between faiths?, and Jade, whose herself of mixed race, being racist......which in the eyes of many organisations just isnt possible as only whites are racist lol.

First I'd heard about Jades mum being Muslim... for a religion that by all evidence presented so far is very anti-Western values (& indeed for that matter anti-white) it seems a very strange life-choice to make :confused:
