i've just ripped the sasha tape from an original moneypennys double pack (sasha 1 & jon pleased women, pink cover) but the tracklist doesnt match up to the one on bradys site.

i've not listened right thru but its about 58 minutes long and it starts with frankie goes to hollywood - welcome to the pleasure dome for about 10 minutes. anyone familiar with this sasha mix?

hi there Digger, sounds like your describing this set --

we've been finding a lot of these unofficial tapes too easy to get mixed up due to the tapes not being marked up properly, its been a nightmare trying to figure them all out & theres probs loads that are labelled up wrong,

its an ongoing process as the correct info comes in lol

I was looking at that moneypennys tape pack just the other day & noticed the sasha set is from around oct/nov 93 & the jon pleased wimmin set is from around feb 94, seems strange to have these 2 sets in the same pack, which makes me think theres something wrong here

Hey brady.

Thanks. Thats the correct tracklist you’ve linked to. Unfortunately the jon pleased women cassette got chewed up about a week after i bought it (1994 lol). I guess it would have been easy to mix these tapes up at point of sale. Mine just has miss moneypennys printed on, no other info.

yeah they're all like that, really easy to get mixed up

do you still have the jon the pleased tape, and is it fixable?

nah mate, went in the bin years ago. think they were proper cheap tapes cos the sasha mix has a couple of wobbles in it too. i'm slowly working thru my old originals, cleaning them up and wotnot. most have survived but a couple wont play properly on my deck. old age i guess... i've got a couple that i cant find tracklistings for online so they might be rare-ish...
