Seeing as it was the first time they appeared together on screen - I didn't really rate Heat - not a big Michael Mann fan though

Very tough decision, All Pacino films are very watchable (with the exception of Revolution - hmmm)
BUT, Even tho hes made some stinkers recently it has to be De Niro for 3 reasons

Both are equal I reckon.
Pacino was superb in Devil's Advocate, I loved his character in that, and who could forget his cutting lines in it, one of which was (something like)
"You'll know what it's like to be fist-fucked by satan"
