eurodance was the dance sound in germany in the middle of the 90s, which was the most popular. Tons of these tunes went top 10 here. The thing was to get a shit standard rapper, a women who can sing and a standard synth bassline with 4 to the floor beat under it.

I must say I like this cold mechanic formularic sound, some of the refrains have really top melodies and the words of the rappers are mostly pure fun. Just like the synth bassline as loud as it can be. Top choons of this style were (biggest commercial success choons):

The list is just a list of some of the biggest commercial successes not of my personal views on thwese tunes. There are many tunes I havent mentioned here which I like in this genre. Just wanted to say that there were some very baaaaaaad ones like Mo-Do - 1 2 polizei, K2 - Der Berg Ruft or Eine Insel Mit Zwei Bergen. Seems like the most shitty eurodance tunes have german speech.

Im guilty of a few cappella's from that era, and I got DJ BOBO dance with me in about 1992/3 but I was young then! It was only £2 lol. I also fess up to Corona - rhtym of the night, cos i was well up for the piano mix at the time, maybe the Rapino Bros or something lol, MASH - U dont have to say U love me, and Pharo - I believe (or something).....Motiv8 Break the Chain, thats still pretty banging in a cheesey piano motiv8 way!.
