1st time i've been since nye but fancied the 808 / dj rhythm combo. nearly a disaster with the mix up in dj times but jammer finished the night off a storm with by far the best set of the night - quality tunes, seamless mixin and awesome scratchin mate....... phones:

feared the worst when 808 opened with bassheads, but every tune after that was what you'd expect from the spinmasters and rocked the place.

couple of trips upstairs and some quality tuneage from mart, mick and dreamgirl - nice vibe up there as ever.

good to see everyone who was out as not seen some folk for a while - wont list names big shout to all the osa who went.

now the strange bit........ i went straight home after and got in bed ffs..... didnt sleep a wink but proved to meself i could do it lol.

another top night.......

top night as always

wat can i say, great night. stayed upstairs most of the night really. only went downstairs to basically say ello to the osa crew a couple of times and go the bar.

first off I'd like to say a big   to saun christopher (i think i got his name right lol) :$. first time DJin at hazydayz in the attic. he was on first and was pretty empty for him, but it soon started fillin up, he pulled out some wicked tunes, played a blinding set and had the place rocking. had a little chat with him as well, top lad. hope too see him again at hazy.

i think i seen mart playin upstairs an all, sometimes i don't notice who's on cause they shadily change over and they're all that good ya can't tell who's playin unless u close one eye and try and focus on the decks lol :$

mick, pulled out some belters, i remember dancin away like uncle nobhead sayin to myself, why the hell would i wanna go downstairs to see 808 state when you're on. class m8

as for you annie, no mistaking when you're on, what a set !! proper blew my head off, belter after belter. i dunno m8, I'm lost for words almost. you are my favourate DJ of all time! i knew u was good but i never actually realised HOW good you are untill you started playin at hazy, but i know now. just simply 'Amazing'.

another top nite hazy peeps:thumbsup: phones: finished to perfection with the Jammer mans set at the end. By far and away the best set of the night :king: i was far too fooked to dance by the end of it and if belfast had of gone on any longer i think i might have cried lol scratchin was unbelievably perfect, and flawless mixing throughout:king: not too shabby considering:fekked: :eyebrow:

top sets by the rezzys, even put up with some non piano type dark n weird tuna upstairs for a bit:fekked: lol

wasnt quite as full as per, prob to do with it being easter n that, but it was nice to be able to roam a bit more freely and not have to change out of my wet clothes before engauging autopilot for the way home :)

lol @ lou-lou :fekked: who ran out the back door bit rather quickly.. so i thought she might have been poorly or summet and went out to see..
when i got to the back door she was wandering around noseying down the alley at the back :fekked: and had just come out to see what was there  bless yer

Hazy hazy hazy, a good night all in all.

Firstly thanks to Pauly for driving, and big thanks to Mart and Mick for letting me play downstairs, really enjoyed that, the sound system was really crisp and juicy, just like it was on 9th Jan

Must admit I didn't think 808 were as good as last time they played there, but they had said they hadn't had much time to prepare, being busy with other stuff, but did play some nice stuff, inc the classic ya ya's - looove (nish) :) hehe

Had a great giggle, and spent a lot of time behind decks with them, and clearing people off the stage :naughty: making the rekkids jump stupid stupid people, I would suggest moving the decks even more forward to where the speakers are, so there's no place to stand, keep the eijits off there :cops:

Worked out well in the end going on last, as Belfast, imo perfect end of night tune, as it slows right down hehe :D

At one point a girl kept asking me who Andy & Darren were, I told her about 5 times and then she turned round and said "they're shit" lol  :fekked: :cops:

Good to meet shorty and richiemac, sure there were a few more I met as well, and of course to see the regulars there, missing in action, to name a few, cookie, sunshine, shooms, Mike, murfs and poshbird, get ya arses in gear!

See ya next month :fekked:

PS, I thought marts set was the best, but sadly not many heard it, as everyone seemed to arrive round 10.30ish

Also hi again to Jen and jacksi (spellin' :$ ) - both crackers :D

Sorry I dont know all the DJ's names who played but they were all great - the only hiccup I remember was that girl dancing at the front who nudged the decks!!!!!

Blue jammer - your set was spot on and the perfect end - pleasure to meet you :)

Cheers to S-J for being a star and finally dragging on the Hazy Express :bounce4:

Met a lot of sound people Sat night and looking forward to the next one!

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to say a big massive....

THANK YOU!

to all the OSA crew who came on Saturday.

Not least because it was a very busy weekend in Liverpool and Manchester with many nights going on, incl a 3 room Cream 'Classics' night and Dave Clarke playing at Voodoo!! We learnt during the night that Cream were selling tickets accross the road from the Zanzibar at one point (this was also confirmed by one or two people off here who'd been approached and asked to buy :naughty: ). So we were up against it and it wasn't as nearly as busy as previous Hazys but the tunes and the atmosphere were still A1 and we are so overwhelmed by the support we get from the wonderful people off OSA...

Thanks to all the DJ's/Guests and people who work so hard behind the scenes to make Hazy happen each month. To SJ who works so hard getting the OSA crew sorted with tickets and on the move  . To Ste (Dodgyscouser) for the live streaming and tech support. To Mick and Sharon without whom Hazy would not happen.

Me and Mick will be putting on many different styles of old skool in the coming months ranging from the classic Shelleys/Quad tunes at the next one to a very special Chicago House do in the summer (just wait and see who we got for this baby...:hubba: ) . Your support is second to none and I hope you enjoy what we do each month....

See you all for Vertigo's 4 hour Shelley's marathon and Andy Carroll's acieeeed upstairs next month!!!

Mart

Hello All - just wanted to say what a top night I had on Saturday considering the mess I got myself into last time with my other work.

Spent alot of time upstairs again - which is no bad thing because it was boss to hear the dj's that were on. Big shout to Sean who played from 9-10:30. It was his debut at hazy and it was an absolutely cracking set. Its not easy to have everyone up on their feet by 9:15 but he certainly did it. Thought his choice of tunes was amazing considering that he had never played there before. He got what the hazy attic was about and the crowd really appreciated it. I went for a bit of a meander but heard Mart playing some class Chicago tunes - keep it up !!!!

Mick - Im not going to embaress you by saying you are my best DJ of all time and that your knowledge of tunes is boss - but I will say PEAS and BEANS and KEYNOTES and TOUR DE FRANCE :king:

Popped downstairs to listen to some of Vertigo's set which was boss and also heard 808 state. One of them played a version of Strings ive never heard before - I was over like a shot to find out what it was when they had finished ... :eyebrow:

Then it was back upstairs to do a set for the attic.

In the words of Cartman (South Park) - I love you guys phones:

Big shouts to everyone who came and for the quote of the night from my sister jojo ....

That Warburtons bread is s*** - it just doesnt flop the right way.

Had a pretty good night at Hazy. It was better than the last couple Ive been to. Vertigo played a top set, loads of beefy belters. 808, well they didnt play as well as last time, and they deffo dropped the ball a few times with some dodgy numbers but on the whole it was good (the strings aint what they used to be is a corker I agree Dreamgirl) Jammer played an excellent set, you played this really catchy tune with samples of loads of other tunes in it, it was really old Im guessing, top track must find out what it is.

Went upstairs for a bit sitting on the sofa, boy the tunes are mad up there, and everyone goes for it. Good to see.

Hazy was quieter than usual but to be honest I preferred it. Also there seemed to be more party loving people in there this time, maybe there wasnt as many nob heads I dont know.

The rest of the w/e was a blurr really, drank to much as usual, waffled a lot as usual. I vaguely remember diving face 1st into a birthday cake, think it was sunday/monday morning:|

Shouts to OSA and everyone I chatted with. Maybe see you next month:cool:

Feckin ace night!! :D
Had to drive due to lack of liftage, but actually enjoyed it loads more than usuall  :| . Probably due to not bein sat down too f*cked to dance all night :D
Thought Jammers set was mint, made it look effortless (first time I've seen you up I think).
Got back to Ste's and Dannsters at about 5:30am in the end because of all the drivin about lookin for petrol stations, cashmachines and the clocks goin forward. Arrived as sober and straight headed as when I went out, then left Sunday afternoon as a discustingly fecked, mashed-up excuse for a human being (not that theres out wrong with that :D ). Had a top laugh, lots of forgetting (frequently might I add), realed off to Ste Huxley, every track I'd used in a mix I'd just done, then realised it had no bearin what so ever on what I was tryin to ask him (thanks for ur patience ;) ). Asked Dannster h"How long does it go on for?" (what I don't know :fekked:  )and ended up stood in the street frightened to go back into the house cause I'd forgot which one I came out of when I went to the car :S :cops: :D , and didn't want to walk into a strangers house. was well relieved when woody showed up at the front door :D . Gonna leave a trail of breadcrumbs next time.
All in all had a mint night and even manged to go out on the Sunday as well. Come on!! :D
Thanks to everone for a top night. Thanks to Ste and Dannster for havin us.
:)
