Ive registered!!

just an idea, but perhaps you should put paypal on your web site (I know reasonstation does) and people can give a donation with their card to keep the site going. (Id place one) I really think you could have a large FTP server behind this site with thousands of mp3 piano tunes etc, I'd be happy to provide this with say a 10 gig facility. Do you think people here would take the time to up all their mp3's if I did this?

Chav-ville Droylsden, innit!
Okay, done that.

Having tried to keep websites up-to-date myself, I can appreciate just how much work and time Butty puts into this site.

I've not got much in the way of cash, but here's my little gesture to try and raise a little bit for the running of the site.

I have the following region 1 (USA) DVD which I'll put up for sale, with the proceeds going to OSA.

Okay, so It's not gonna buy Butty a ferrari, but it might help out a bit.

This is the original Elite version, uncut, still in the factory shrink-wrapping. Anyone who knows about DVDs will know this is a collector's item. The UK version of this film, by the way, is heavily cut.

I must point out, though, that I have JUST taken it down from a shelf and dropped the box (in a jiffy bag), and it sounds as though I might have dislodged the disc! D'oh! :S I am now storing it face down to protect the disc surface.

So there you go, whoever offers me the most £££ by the weekend can have it, proceeds to OSA.

:jumpin:

(Preferably someone who can collect it, so I don't have to post it

plus to be honest i dont think we have that many film buffs around town - now if ya had a copy of now thats what i call a bootleg vol 1 up for auction i think thered b a whole different scenario :)

and where ya say about it bein a effort doin the site n keepin tings tikkin - i really dont mind. i wudnt have started the site if it wasnt summet i was willin 2 put me heart n soul into, n its only coz i enjoy the music so much i did, these days its hard to find things u truly enjoy, yeah theres things that r good for a while but the novelty wears off - the tunes the site is about is the only ever thing ive found that ive been so into n so its a joy for me 2 to do it, n knowin peeps enjoy it aswel then thats what its all about init it keeps me goin n as long as people keep comin n enjoyin il keep addin n buildin :)

You're right there, mate. I have my little phases of being into stuff, but it always come back to my love for this music.

It was just an idea about the DVD (um, another of my phases, along with videogames and stuff that I never use).

It'll make a rather attractive and exclusive beer mat for my desk, I s'pose!

I hope you realise that you will never get rid of us butty, you are stuck with us forever !!! If you get rid of the site, we'd all boycott youre house and not let you out again until it was back up and running !!! :p ;) ;)

Butty m8, I've already been on e-bay for ages, but we could all concoct alter egos and sign up again, under different names. (ps joke)

Seriously though,....it is incredible the people you have united in a love of music, from all over the uk, and of course some abroad too, and the fact youve funded it yourself.

So hows about this,....everyone donate a record,...doesnt have to be owt briliant, maybe a double or summat, but preferably summat 88-92 then Butty can sell em on ebay to raise funds toward OSA.

*In a Jim'l Fixit stylie*...............Now Howzabout that then.

:axe: :axe: :axe: :axe: :axe:
