thanks for sharing this k00lworld its the only part I didnt have 
strange its still stopping after you replaced the case, usually a change of case & a quick fast forward run through of both sides sorts it out

I've found the issue. There's a kink in the tape which looks like a manufacturing defect but it's bad enough to make every tape deck I've tried stop and or slow down. I've tried hi-speed dubbing onto another tape and that fails as well. My next step may be to take a scalpel to the offending section to see if I can make a square without severing the tape completely.

At the very beginning of side 1 is Brainbug - Nightmare; you can hear it being mixed out as that male track starts. It's the only track I couldn't rip although on side B Andy & The Lamboy was cut short by the same defect.
