How old are you then hun cos you must've been an original 'Lifer' to have been on Sale on that night...who else do you know from there?

Don't worry about age Cookie - Butty is just one of the whipper snappers is all - he's always moaning about bein born 5 yrs too late for all the fun ...some people are just never satified :rolleyes: lol.

I'm 30 and still 'avinit alrge so if I can still do it, Im sure you can babes !! x

Welcome aboard, soz its late but Im abroad (lol, thats my excuse and Im stickin with it).

I know youre area like the back of my hand Cookie, infact I probably know YOU :p

I am originally from Altrincham but have lived in Sale, Wythenshawe and even just up the road from you in Baguely.
Now I live in Spain on the Costa (del ching).

I used to go to welly road school a long time ago (pushing 30 now myself) till I got expelled.


Anyway I wont go on and on, just want to say welcome aboard innit...so WELCOME !

Yeh, I remember the car rolling down the bank - two girls diving out of the back and the stereo still going as it sunk slowly but surely into the water - with this poor guy on the side holding his head saying 'my Mum's car, my Mum's car......' - fantastic fun for the rest of us :eek: :D :eek: :D

Yes, I am not only an original 'Lifer' (from the day it opened) but I am also an original 'Life at the Pleasuredrome' (Farnworth) too (which was my favourite). :love: :luv:

That makes me 35 but please don't tell anyone because although I try not to be I am sensitive about it - oooops too late!!:cry: :cry:
I don't look it though - honest - HONEST!!!!

Should I PM you with the contents of my address book back from those days and the ones I can remember or do you want me to go public?

Will try and get to Goodtimes as soon as I can but my injury is not doing too well at the moment :cry:

I can't wait to meet you all - if I bring/buy vodka can I also join you in a comfy corner seat?

Of course you can be a member if you want to - you'd be most welcome! - you are actually in your 30th year now anyway - however, you really should only be a junior member (which is a good thing to be) and make the most of it. ;) :D

My hubby was from AUL - so I didn't too many people as he moved out soon after I met him.

The names that come to mind are Botsy, Rick H, Daz C, Tim, Braddy, Ste I, Brett, Yippy Gavin, Griff, Justin (Tim), Rami, Tony.

Not bad for not knowing many huh?? ;) . I know the names might not mean much, but together you may know who some of them are ?!?!?!
