I'm fucked
BBC NEWS | UK | Clampdown on excessive speeders
I fail to see how driving 20 mph+ above the speed limit is deemed as anti-social driving... surely it depends on a number of variables... weather, visibility, volume of traffic... etc
To me anti-social driving are those dicks who sit in the middle / outside lane of motorways for no good reason when there is a perfectly empty lane beside them & then force me to undertake them. Or twats constantly dabbing their brakes just coz someone else does in front of them when simply lifting off the throttle will do the job just as well. They should be shot in the face.
I had to sit the Advanced Driving Test driving test (was a pre-req for getting 25% discount on my insurance for the V6) with a serving policeman sat beside me as my examiner... part of the exam was on a motorway... 70 mph on a motorway is the slowest place in the world... Oh I realised after I had a bag of sniff in the glove compartment
I agree urban driving should be more carefully monitored & stiffer penalties introduced but surely the whole point of motorways is a dedicated road user only fast route ?
Thoughts ?
