Reply to threads.
I think people may join in more if they got more response when they posted something. Look at the average reply rate to most threads started, apart from the odd one, it pretty much averages a big fat zero or a very low number. I know some threads/posts dont need a reply but I feel more response would encourage people to join in more.
I am as guilty as anyone of not replying to other peoples threads as much as I could/should, but maybe if all of the regulars on here made sure we reply to as many as possible, then it might bring things back to life a bit? Just a few words or something would prob do it.
I especially think we should all make more of a welcome for new comers when they make the effort to introduce themselves. This would obviously encourage them to post stuff and join in.
