now then peeps ever since i joined osa i liked the way people shared their thoughts and experience on the whole music scene :D . which i like what i dont like :naughty: is over the past couple of days iv noticed certain peeps hav a knack of jumping to conclusions and bein dam right bitchy or critical! :mad:
why cant we all hav a discussion without bein so personal and assumptive, know body knows me on this board personally and i really do dislike the way some people give their views in a sacarastic and critical way :moonie: .thought osa was a friendly place? as i strong woman i give my opinions but never critical about others as im not that way inclined! but i am of the following.....
an old skool gal who's moved with the times music and fashion, likes to dress up and mix with people from all walks of life havin a great time whever i am, accepting everyones taste in music and clubs and this is how others should be too instead of tryin to put people and their opinions down.
acceptance of the world and the people in it is the greatest gift of peace :thumbsup: now i shall stop waffling and listen to everyone elses views on this matter lol

I aint been around this weekend so i aint sure what threads your talking about but this is deffo one of the most friendliest forums around and ran by very sound people. You will always get the minority that want to cause trouble but dont let that spoil your enjoyment of the board :D

well im not sure to what your talking about but then again I suppose im totally used to the way everyone is and just expect certian people to answer in certian ways.

Im very rarely serious about anything much, prefer to have a laugh and take the piss so if its me whos been sarcastic in any comments more than likely it was fully intentional :p

No offence ment like, suppose once you get to know everyone a lot more youll just realise different peoples faults and quirks, youll also notice i dont have any faults and youll be amazed at how much of a perfect person I actually am, on that note ill stop cause i dont really like blowing my own trumpet and hence I have a full rib cage ;)

i see where you coming from an that sounds to me like female bitchness, I could be wrong but its usually women who are like that, especially if they feel threatened.

I find it funny watching good looking birds when your out cause if another bird walks past them whos better looking it full on daggers............................................ also they usually show some decent clevage ;) :p

I hope I havent badgered you with insinuations of dangly bits photographs n stuff.......:| :eek: ........its just you mentioned it, and thats pretty all I have to go off for a rapore, cos I have a set of dangly bits myself and I can associate with that association :) lol. Just kiddin'. :)

Now, Im a straight talker, I call a spade a spade when I feel its necessary and not a "toughened steel galvanised oblique shaped garden implementation tool for the purposes of earth removal" just to try and play happy families. Sometimes you need to rock the boat to gain a better undertanding within yourself and learn from others. For example I dont particularly think cheesey HardHouse is quality musical craftsmanship sometimes, but Im big enough to accept that some of it can be okay, well made, and If I cannot make better myself then Im very impressed even though I wouldnt buy it for my collection.

However, I would fight to the death if somebody started calling a corny Ibiza tune from 2002 "old skool" though, because it defaces the true meaning of it for me personally. If somebody said that SClub Juniors and the Aqua song, or a utter wank hardhouse tune knocked up in 10 minutes featuring 110% samples in 1999 is the DEFINATIVE oldskool track - quite rightly I feel justified in taking the piss out of that person :) lol.

Im not one of these people who can listen to anything and agree its fantastic to not put others down....if I feel its utter bobbins and ashtray fodder, Im inclined to say so, or make expressions in that way to show my dissaproval - its my right. If something is politically or socially against my principles or beliefs, I will again argue my case and not dilly dally incase I just happen to upset somebody slightly, and if I can be convinced its not bobbins or is a fasle argument then I will accept that and try and move on. You cant live a lie. Its okay saying why cant we all have a group hug and all love each others tastes, but unfortunately it cant work that way like much else in the world.

I can accept others like different music, like I was arguing/debating why I thought the Venga boys was an assualt on my eardrums, and crap manufactured dross by brainless wasters (with such fantastic song composition skills and lyrical genious such as "Everybody get on down The Vengaboys are back in town" and "Boom Boom Boom, get in my room") - now, I was slagging it off as I dont like it with every bone in my body, I may have upset the person in question for all I know, but I didnt slagg her off for listening to it, I just said it wasnt for me and thats my opinion of it. :thumbsup: She thinks my music is either the same loop for an hour and a half, or old wailing piano shit, to which I can accept that perspective and move along unscathed because it doesnt matter what anyone thinks about my records but me! lol.

I really do hope I havent come off as offensive in any way, either now or in the past, cos by nature Im a very, very, very cynical person, (some would say bitter and twisted lol) wry and sarcastic on occasions and its sometimes hard to put accross in words what you yourself are having a mini chortle at on the sly, without coming across as some sort of utter bastard, lol......Hope you know what I mean.

To say to somebody that they are lesser than you for liking cheese pop music isnt on. To say its a bag of crap and express that opinion is one we should feel privalaged to have :) lol.

and sirius i totally agree with u what uv said is most acceptable in the way u express ur views as i do the same , what gets me is when peeps accuse u of something thats not true, catagorizing without actually knowing u or twisting ur words so to make u sound like a complete dick! :eek:
i believe peeps do this sort of thing cause of jealously in some cases or just plain shallow minded and like to keep in the crowd of sheep their in! :confused:

If this really is about them two threads then i feel that it's a bit of an over reaction. Everyone is allowed thier own opinion and are free to air it! You've just gotta accept that everyones different.

Blatant nastiness i really don't like but i've not taken any of it that way.

As usual there's a good chance i've missed summat cos i usually do but hey ho, there we go!!!

I think perhaps you might have took comments made on the other threads a little to heart. Its easy to do- i did the same when i first arrived at the merry house of OSA. I do not belive that anyone was trying to make you look like a dick, just simply putting across their views on a topic put up for discussion. Its easy when you only communicate via text to misunderstand someone's intention, its the lack of inflection that causes the confusion.

One thing i have learned whilst being here though is not to let it get personal, if you feel that someone is really targeting you then perhaps the hoo-haa is best kept to pm's. What i mean is, by starting a thread that either directly or indirectly has a go at someone in another area of the board after a spat could be viewed as antagonistic. I appreciate that you felt 'got at', but starting this thread and name calling you may have caused bad feeling when none needed to occur.

As i said, when i first joined i was always thinking that i had said/done the wrong thing. Its just like any freindship group, there are individuals who like to voice their opinion. If you stick with it though, and treat everyone with a bit of respect, you will see that when people comment it really usually is done with the best of intentions. :thumbsup:

im a bit confused here? just read both the links (cheers jammer:) ) and im misunderstanding exactly wot or who has upset u? as far as i cud gather both threads were a discussion with various people giving an opinion.. but if u really are upset then i feel u shud address it via pm's.
this no doubt will turn into a forgotten spat just like all the others on this board lol we have plain sailing for a while then something stirs up then it settles and a while later its somat else stirred.. butty will be sat reading this with a smile on his face thinking these lot are at it again lol wheres abu barney wen u need him pmsl:p
